Date: Tuesday, Mar. 16, 1999 Time: 6:00 - 6:45pm PT
Transcript
OrCCCa: Welcome Everyone! The Talk City Network (tm) and ZineZone.com (tm) welcome you to chat tonight with Robin Raskin. Robin Raskin is editor-in-chief and publisher of the magazine she founded, FamilyPC. Tonight you can chat with this former freelancer/at-home mom about the industry powerhouse she built, and the future of family computing. Robin Raskin, Welcome to ZineZone and Talk City!
RobinRaskin: Thank you for having me!
SueDM says: Welcome Robin! How long ago did you found FamilyPC magazine, and do you have a sense of how many people subscribe to the
print magazine as opposed to those who log on to the online version?
RobinRaskin: I was formerly the editor of PC Magazine, and realized there was a big gap between that and one that would make computing palatable for families. I started it 4 years ago, and it now has 500,000 print subscribers, and 1 million online viewers. And we're growing!
