Seymour Papert is one of those lucky folks whose work takes him all over the world. Recently, he's been involved with educational projects in Costa Rica, Thailand, Russia and Bulgaria, which are only a few of the places he's been.
Yet with all the professional travel Papert does, his favorite location is his home in Maine. Born in South Africa, Papert's journey to New England took him through old England, where he got his Ph.D. in Mathematics from Cambridge University; and Geneva, where he worked with Jean Piaget.
