"My day usually involves going to the airport, or coming from the airport, or being in an airport. I travel probably 200,000 miles a year and the irony is that when I first got out of the cattle business in the late 1980s, I was under the impression that I could make a living online. You know-leave my body plunked down in Pinedale, Wyoming and let my mind run the planet and make a living. And the odd thing that'scome to pass is that I leave my mind at Barlow@eff and let my body roam the planet and make a living. I think this is because once you start to communicate broadly in a virtual way, you always want to communicate face to face. There is no substitute for experience."
