Frank immortalized the poverty of Limerick, Ireland, in the 1940s in Angela's Ashes. But Ireland today boasts the fastest growing economy in Europe, boosted by many Silicon Valley companies which use it as their European base. Plus, the young Irish diaspora is heading back home to settle down amid the island's natural beauty and friendly people.

Frank has called New York City home since the early '50s, and he's known for frequenting the writerly watering holes of Greenwich Village. He's also a product of the NYC public school system, having taught high school English for more than 30 years.
