Publish your zine
There are two ways to publish your zine, personal publishing and library publishing. Personal publishing is automatic to all ZineZone users: Your zine is always available for you to share with friends and family. If you'd like to share your zine with others, you simply give them this URL, http://www.zinezone.com/users/yourmembername.

Library publishing is the other option which allows you to add your zine to our zine library, ensuring that your zine shows up in ZineZone search results. For example, if you choose to publish your zine in our library and you use "skiing" as one of your keywords, any search results for skiing will include your zine.

You can also unpublish your zine at any time.

Publishing your zine is easy:
  1. First, log in to your zine using your member name and password.
  2. Then, click on the "Publish" tab at the top of your table of contents. (It's there on the left hand side next to "Edit.")
  3. From there, you will be taken to a publishing page where you will need to provide some information.
  4. Make a note of your URL under the "Private Publishing" section. Write it down so you'll be able to let others know about it.
  5. Then, if you'd like to make your zine public to all ZineZone users, complete the "Public Publishing" section, providing the appropriate information: a name for your zine; the zone to which you'd like to publish it (pay attention here, this will determine the zone where your zine will be listed. If your zine is mainly on skiing, you would want to publish it in Sports & Recreation, not Wealth, for example.); keywords for your zine which will ensure that it is returned in ZineZone searches; and finally, a paragraph about your zine which will be used to describe it to other users.
  6. Next, please read our publishing guidelines carefully. We will not publish any zines which do not meet those guidelines.
  7. Finally, click "OK" and your zine will be published.
Unpublishing your zine
You should be able to take your zine down when it gets old, too. Unpublishing your zine is simple. Send an email to editors@zinezone.net with "Unpublish membername" in the subject line. Make sure you include your membername in the subject line so we know which zine to remove from the library. That's all there is to it.
