| What is ZineZone? | |||
ZineZone is the ultimate, online experience for people pursuing a killer life. We combine editorial and media expertise with sophisticated technology to create meaningful, automated, personal web publishing capabilities.

| What is a zine? | |||
A "zine" -- short for magazine -- is an aggregation of the best content the Web has to offer on a single topic. Zines are organized into an easy-to-read format and are constantly updated with the help of our technology. By dynamically retrieving the content you want, zines allow you to spend less time searching the Web for information, and more time enjoying it. Browse the more than 700 different editor zines in our library on topics ranging from fly-fishing to wine-tasting. Then, build your own zine using our pre-existing content or by creating your own filters, and adding links and multimedia. You can even "publish" your zine: Adding it to our library will allow other ZineZone users to read it.

| What's a zone? | |||
A zone is a top-level category in our zine directory. For example, the Bicycling zine can be found in the Sports & Recreation zone.

| What else does ZineZone offer? | |||
Aside from our zines, ZineZone also offers compelling, original content, featuring the stories of inspiring people living adventurous lives, celebrity chats, message boards, weekly columns, and a marketplace for buying products of interest to you.

Where is the Password, and why did it change?
ZineZone, which launched in January 1999, is the new and improved version of The Password. It offers all the same dynamic features you came to know and love at the Password, but with a more exciting presentation, improved technology, and compelling original content. |
What browsers and platforms does ZineZone support?
ZineZone is optimized for IE 4.x and higher, and Netscape 4.x and higher. ZineZone does not work well with WebTV. We designed our service to run with the most popular hardware and software (Windows 95/NT on an x86 or better PC processor). |

What happened to e-mail?
The Password, ZineZone's previous incarnation, offered free e-mail to all users. Any user of the free password e-mail can still access their accounts by always going directly to http://www.zinezone.com/email. There you can log in to your account as you always have. Please bookmark this URL so you can always access it quickly. |
