Nov. 27, 2000 Create Your Own Zine: Edit Your Zine

Edit Your Zine When you're ready to populate your zine with links for the first time, or you want to change some of your existing links, you'll need to access our zine-building tools. To get to our tools, click on the "Edit" tab at the top of the table of contents on the left-hand side. (See it there, between "Read" and "Publish"?) Our tools let you build and edit your zine any way you choose: add our pre-existing content; add your own content in the form of filters and links; and then customize your zine with a brief description and an image. Notice the three tabs in the right hand side of the frame: From Our Zine Library: Use this to add our pre-existing content. (This is the default tool which shows up when you click the Edit tab.) We have more than 700 zines in our library, created by professional editors who have scoured the Web for the most relevant content. Take advantage of the work we've already done!. From the Web: Can't find anything in our library that suits you? Use this to add filters, links, or your own Internet Bookmarks. This is where you can really customize your zine to deliver the info you want. Customize: Use this tool to describe yourself and your zine. This description will appear in our search results when your zine is returned by a keyword search. You can also add a photo of yourself here, your own personal URL, and other information you'd like to share. Clicking on any one of these tabs will bring you to the respective tools.
